The 2021 Jeep Gladiator is powered by a standard 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Drivers can also opt with an available diesel-powered turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. The 3.6-liter engine provides a standard towing ability of 4,000 lbs. with a payload of 1,700 lbs.

When equipped with the available Max Towing package, Gladiator models powered by the 3.6-liter engine can enjoy a maximum towing capacity of up to 7,650 lbs. Meanwhile, diesel Gladiator models provide a maximum towing ability of 4,500 lbs. Additionally, the Gladiator offers the choice between 2×4 and 4×4 drive configurations.
